Important Announcement

Due to demand, First Kids Christian Cooperative Preschool has added a new Pre-Kindergarten class.

First Kids will offer a Tuesday & Thursday Pre-Kindergarten class for the 2012-2013 school year. 

This class will meet from 8:30am to noon.  (The Monday, Wednesday, Friday class meets from 9:00am to 11:45am)  The same kindergarten prep material will be taught as in the three day a week class. 

The class size will be limited to 8 students. 

Linda Godfrey will be the instructor.

The Monday, Wednesday & Friday Pre-Kindergarten class is full.  Please contact the preschool if you would like to be added to the waiting list.  

The Monday through Friday Pre-Kindergaten class is also full and working from a waiting list.  Please contact the preschool if you would like to be added to this waiting list.

First Kids Christian Cooperative Preschool would like to thank everyone for their overwhelming response to our 2012-2013 registration. 

The following classes still have openings:

Toddlers (18mo.- 35mo.):  Monday, Wednesday & Friday from 9:00am to 11:50am

Preschool (3-4 years of age): Monday, Wednesday & Friday from 9:00am to 11:50am

Tuesday & Thursday from 9:00am to 11:50am

In recognition of excellence and an ongoing commitment to children, First Kids Christian Cooperative Preschool has received a One-Star Step up to Quality Award from the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services, Bureau of Child Care and Development.

Reminder About Inclement Weather

If Troy City Schools are delayed, First Kids Preschool starts at its regular time.

If Troy City Schools are cancelled, First Kids Preschool is cancelled.  Extended care operates as usual.

In the case of a Level 3 Emergency Miami County, First Kids Preschool AND Extended Care are CLOSED.

First Kids Christian Cooperative Preschool began in 2005 as a ministry of

First United Methodist Church.

The program is a parent cooperative program

The preschool is licensed by the State of Ohio, Department of Job and Family

Services.

The staff are trained in CPR, First Aid, Communicable Diseases, Recognition of

Child Abuse and the Ohio Early Learning Content Standards.

Creative Curriculum is provided in a Christian atmosphere.

Additional activities may include walking field trips, visitors to the classroom,

fundraisers, family events.

Class offerings include 2-day, 3-day,and 5-day programs for PreK (4-5 years of age), Preschool (3-4 years of age) and Toddlers (18-35 months)

Day Care with early morning drop off (7:00am) and extended day programs (6:00pm) are available.
